In late 2012 and early 2013 we started sensing that God was doing a new thing in our lives. As we began seeking God, it was revealed to us that we were being called to serve in Kenya, East Africa – Babu’s home country. We, Babu and Beverly Omido relocated to Kenya in 2013 full of zeal to experience a different season in our lives in being imitators of Christ Jesus by showing His love as He expanded our borders.
We arrived full of more zeal than wisdom through trial and error, we learned many lessons. We discovered that we were mere men and God is God Almighty, and obedience is better than sacrifice. We also learned that God gives specific instructions, and we must be still, listen for His voice and obey what He is instructing us to do. It is better to obey God than men.
