ZAIDI YA DREAMS BLESSED LINK - MORE THAN DREAMS
We are a Faith Based Organization established in 2013 by Babu and Beverly Omido. Our goals are to impact lives by identifying, nurturing, uplifting, assessing, and accelerating. We currently do ministry in Nairobi, Machakos, Kakuma Refugee Camp, Mombasa County and have outreaches in the Nuba Mountains and Tonj in South Sudan.
Our work began with discipling some street children by providing food, school fees, uniforms, shoes, and other basic needs with the focus on transforming their lives into productive members of society.
Later in the year, we began supporting Zaidi Ya Dreams Children’s Home for neglected and abused children. We also support underprivileged women and young adults from disadvantaged communities by providing educational support for economic empowerment. Also, discipleship training for spiritual growth.
Blessed Link is committed to making a positive impact on society through its partnerships and programs for societal change. We believe that by working together with other organizations and individuals, we can address pressing issues such as environmental protection, water, sanitation, hygiene, health, and poverty eradication.
Blessed Link is actively involved in environmental conservation efforts. We have conducted outreach programs at the Kenyan meteorological department and organized tree-planting activities with students in Vihiga and other counties in Kenya, promoting sustainable practices and protecting the environment.
Blessed Link faces several obstacles in its efforts to make a positive impact on society. These challenges include:
- Resource Constraints: Limited funding and human resources hinder program implementation and sustainability.
- Community Resistance: Cultural barriers and lack of awareness sometimes impedes program acceptance.
- Sustainability: Ensuring long-term impact and community ownership is sometimes difficult.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Gathering accurate data and developing effective evaluation methods can be challenging.
Blessed Link has attempted to make a significant impact in various areas of societal change. The organization has successfully implemented programs in environmental conservation and health.
